Anti-drink fun day proves a spirited affair for hundreds

HUNDREDS of people turned out for a fun day aimed at reducing alcohol abuse in a Livingston community.

Local resident Nancy McIntosh officially opened the Knightsridge Fun Day last Sunday, which was supported by more than 700 local people.

It was organised to launch the Alcohol Reduction Campaign in the area with the message 'Do More Drink Less'.

Tricia Moran, of the West Lothian Drug and Alcohol Service, said: "The fun day provided a good opportunity to share information."
