Appeal for disability equipment
PEOPLE across West Lothian are being urged to return any unused health or disability equipment.
An Equipment Amnesty fortnight is being held from September 20 to October 1 to encourage people to arrange for items that are no longer being used to be collected, including walking equipment, bed rails and rests, bath hoists and shower chairs/stools.
Theresa Douglas, chair of West Lothian Community Health and Care Partnership, said: "It is important that equipment that isn't currently used is returned."
