Electronic cards for homeless

WEST Lothian's charity for young homeless people is appealing for local people to support them by e-mailing friends a Christmas e-card this year.

Open Door is urging people to click on an e-card to friends and family to help donate money for the organisation this Christmas.

Director Leslie Gregory commented: "We hope that as many people as possible will support us by sending e-cards to friends and family this year.

"An added bonus to supporting West Lothian's homeless young people is that you are also reducing your environmental impact.

"Simply click on the card, make your donation and we will email you back the links to your card and the others shown. We will also send a link to a very special video that has been produced for Open Door by the young people themselves.

"Special and sincere thanks to Heather and Peter Heywood their version of Some People Cry, which was recorded by them for Open Door. Also to Bill McLeod of Central Video for remixing the video for the web."

It is also available as a recorded version from Greentrax Recordings at www.greentrax.com from the album By Yon Castle Wa', by Heather Heywood.
