Lassie needs a loving home

ANIMAL welfare experts at the Dogs Trust re-homing centre in West Calder are appealing for a new home for a friendly two-year-old staffie cross.

Lassie originally came to the centre with her brother, who has since found a loving new home and staff are hopeful she will not be left behind too long.

Centre manager Susan Tonner said: "Lassie has lived with children and dogs and is fully house-trained. She is very playful, affectionate and eager to learn.

"She has not been used to walking on the lead but is loving her walks at the centre." She has bags of energy and needs a fit, strong owner able to keep her sharp mind focused."

Lassie is vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped and comes with insurance and free behavioural advice.

If you can offer Lassie or any of the other 60 dogs at the centre a home, contact 01506 873459.
