Mall on look out for artists

THE county's prime shoppping destination is looking for a budding artist to design an image for display that will be exposed to millions of visitors.

The Centre in Livingston wants a local artist's work to cover a 20m x 2m area of hoarding for a year while developments are carried out in the mall.

There are two weeks left for entries to be submitted and the design must have a focus on fashion. The winner will get a 500 gift card.

Centre marketing manager Jennifer Bruce said: "We want to see what people can come up with that is different but still reflects the stylish atmosphere in The Centre."

The closing date is September 22. All entries should be sent in A3 form to: The Centre Community Hoardings competition, 118 North Main Street, Farkirk, FK2 8HU.
