Hockey club looking for new players
LINLITHGOW Ladies Hockey Club is looking for new players for its squad this season.
Players of any ability must be aged over 14 to be eligible to play.
The team trains at Linlithgow Academy's astropitch every Wednesday from 7.15-9pm and home games are at the same venue on Saturdays.
Morag Johnston said: "We currently have one team in the East District Division 1 and are starting a development team this season which will play in division 3.
"Any ability is welcome from never having played before, returning from a break, not picked up a stick since school or building up your fitness.
"Spare equipment is also available to borrow for anyone who doesn't have their own."
As well as the games, the club organises regular social events including nights out/in, fundraisers and race nights.
