CHARISMA and talent showed why fans of Take That were shouting "we want you back for good" to the latest tribute act to tread the boards at the Regal Theatre.
Having seen the real thing twice at sell-out stadium gigs, the Take That Mania (TTM) boys had a lot to live up to and I was more than pleasantly surprised by their professional and talented performance.

Granted, the arena was far from full but TTM performed like it was the biggest show they had ever done, which warmed the audience to them.

While not having the looks of Take That – who does? – the group have the personality and charm to carry the show, and their audience, along with them as they belt out hit after hit to considerable aplomb.

The dancing was sharp and crisp, the singing as good as you could expect from any small group emulating their idols and the costumes were eye-catching and moved the show in different directions.

The show was social, compatible and er . . . irresistible.
